Barolo has been called the "king of wines" and the "wine of kings." It is one of the world's premier wines and is made from only the very best Nebbiolo grapes, grown near the town of Alba in Italy's Piedmont. Beni di Batasiolo farms five small vineyards of Nebbiolo, where the Barolo reaches its maximum expression.

Join us on October 6th from 6pm-8pm. Come meet and taste with Stefano Poggi from the Beni di Batasiolo Winery and experience the rare chance to enjoy 6 Cru Barolo wines from some of the best vintages in decades. Italian cuisine will be served, prepared by Chef Ian. There will be an opportunity to purchase a limited number of these bottles sold as a collectors set.

Tickets are $45 club for members and $55 for non-club members.

Members can purchase up to 2 reduced rate tickets.

2007 Boscareto
Offering juicy cherry, licorice, and spice flavors. Balanced on the warm, extroverted side, with density and weight on the finish.
91 pts. Wine Spectator.

2009 Briccolina
A heady mix of licorice, bouillon, leather and tar highlights this muscular red. Should develop on a relatively fast track, yet remains fresh and long on the finish.
93 pts. Wine Spectator.

2009 Brunate
Bright acidity guiding cherry, raspberry, licorice and spice flavors. Balanced and firm, with fine length. This has plenty of life ahead.
