These vines for this Sauvignon Blanc sit high above Marlborough’s Awatere Valley on the Loveblock Farm. The harsh environment, with its strong winds that slow vine growth and produce very small berries with high aromatic concentration, makes premium Sauvignon Blanc. It has a completely dry finish but is chock full of fruitiness, minerality and lime that lingers on your tongue. We would serve this wine with grilled seafood, fresh shellfish, or roasted poultry. It will also go well with hard, light colored cheeses, and spices commonly found in Thai and Vietnamese dishes.
