The 2017 vintage from the Rodgers Creek Vineyard was the best we have seen. Loose clusters and tiny berries produced a complex and layered Pinot Noir that retains its signature earthy mushroom notes, while red fruit aromas and Asian spices explode from the glass. In 2017 they whole-cluster fermented 20% of the Pommard clone, adding aromatic complexity and verve. Smooth texture and rich, silky tannins make it a pleasure to drink now, while giving the wine longevity.  Only 800 cases were made and we have the very last of it.  Enjoy this wine with a grilled pork tenderloin, a roasted turkey and dressing, or a creamy Delice de Borgogne.  Drink now, as we have already cellared this wine for an additional year so that it would be perfect.  We recommend 20 minutes of decanting before enjoying this wine.

"I love this wine’s fragrant cherry and black-raspberry nose that also has delicate, toasty and spicy notes. Ripe and rather concentrated with fine tannins that support beautifully the long, dry yet silky finish. Drink or hold."
93 Points, James Suckling

The 2014 Family Reserve was aged in French and American Oak (17%) for a stunning 27 months.  The result is a luxury wine that is dark with dense fruit flavors and layered with hints of oak and spice.  It has aromas of blackberry, raspberry and cedar box, with spicy oak notes and blackberries on the palate with a long chewy finish. The blend is striking for the percentage of Petit Verdot it contains.  It's outrageous, and we love it!  A whopping 44% is Petit Verdot, 34% Merlot, and  22% Cabernet Sauvignon. Pair this wine with serious steaks and game, or a big Italian feast.
