Rest assured, there's no cheese in the making of this lovely wine! The Pecorino grape is native to the central region of Marche (on the inside knee of Italy's boot). The cheese of the same name (Pecorino) got its name from the sheep's milk used to make the cheese (Pecora means sheep). On the nose, aromas of chamomile, lemongrass and yellow apple starts off its delightful bouquet. Soft, with a rounded mouthfeel, the wine is loaded with plenty of citrus, peach and melon flavors. Juicy acidity keeps it fresh and the flavors persist through the lingering floral finish. Enjoy with seafood or salty cured meats like prosciutto di Parma.
