Right after Hurricane Harvey, we committed $10 from each bottle sold of Nice Malbec wine to the Houston Harvey Relief Fund and raised $10,000 in 30 days. This year, sales of Nice Malbec will help fund the establishment of Houston's first ever sustainable wine grape farm in the Houston city limits where we plan to teach kids and adults in the Spring Branch community about the virtues of sustainable farming and care of the ecosystem.
This wine is aged in stainless steel and concrete tanks, which do not require sulfite sanitation like natural wood barrels. It tastes of cherry pie, blackberry jam, cocoa, and pepper. This is a drink now wine and it will not improve remarkably with aging. This wine does not require decanting, if stored properly, it will drink well into 2024. Pair with our braised beef shortribs!

Every bottle of Nice Rosé sold benefits The Emma Jacobs Breast Cancer Foundation, which supports the critical work of Dr. Lucci at MD Anderson. Emma Jacobs, a tireless advocate for breast cancer research and awareness and a breast cancer survivor herself, has been raising funds through the Emma Jacobs Breast Cancer Foundation for over a decade.
This excellent wine perfectly blends the fruit forward style of California with the dry minerality of an ideal French, Provence rosé. It is not a sweet wine, it is crisp and dry and perfect for summer becuase it should be chilled before serving. We find flavors of raspberry, strawberry, Hibiscus flower, and rainfall.
Great for pairing with lighter fare such as pork, poultry (especially roasted hen) and seafood. Or, just sip well chilled on warm summer days.
Ariana is the daughter of our friend and wine club member, Anne Garcia. After only 6 weeks of life, Ariana was diagnosed with a life-threatening congenital heart defect (CHD), the #1 cause of infant death. Ariana received the life-saving, open-heart surgery she required, but many infants do not. Anne founded OpHeart to help save the lives of CHD babies through advocacy and innovative surgeries utilizing 3D printing to create replicas of patients’ heart for pre-surgical planning. Every bottle of Ariana sold will benefit OpHeart, and thousands of babies just like her.
The wine is 54% Grenache Blanc and 46% Viognier grapes. Both of these French grapes are known for their floral aromas, brilliant color, and complex flavors. On the nose, we smell notes of honeysuckle flowers and hints of gardenia. One sip and all we can think about is the fresh and crisp white peach and tart citrus flavors that seem to linger on the tongue forever. The finish is clean and refreshing.
This wine pairs perfectly with our Salmon recipe using our proprietary Nice Spice blend!
