About the Vineyards:
The Roussanne and Marsanne grapes are grown at the top of Mount Veeder, along the border with Sonoma. With elevations extending up to 2,600 feet, these vineyards struggle for nourishment and moisture, consistently producing clusters with small berries and intense flavors.
The Chardonnay come from the Oakville District in the Napa Valley. The first vineyards were planted in Oakville in 1868, and the appellation was initially named “To Kalon”, which is Greek for “most beautiful”. While Oakville is relatively warm, the night and early morning fog provides a moderating influence, resulting in luscious and balanced wines.
