The inspiration for this blend comes from the Grand Cru wines of the Pauillac district of Bordeaux, which are traditionally composed from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Although Cabernet Sauvignon based, this wine is a blend with Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petite Verdot.
Pairs well with grilled herbed lamb chops, beef stew, and hearty cheeses.
